Still, destiny offers hope and welcomes possibilities—possibilities that reach the limits of imagination. I’m not a collector of other people’s photographs or memories. Yours were the first. And since 1993, they have taken me to places I wouldn’t have otherwise visited, introduced me to people I wouldn’t have met, and given me confidence that everything in our universe is connected—including the antique mall in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, where your photograph album was abandoned.
